At 82 amps, the welder will MIG continuously for 6 minutes and needs to rest for 4 minutes. At 63 amps, the welder will MIG continuously or 100% of the time. The duty cycle is tested at 40 degrees Celsius; if the welder operates at a lower temperature e.g. 20 degrees Celsius, the duty cycle will be higher.
